• What is Flourish?

  Flourish is a collection of Bible Study materials covering 12 months of Scripture-based content created for women to use as a resource for discipleship. This journey was created by The Grove at Passion City Church as an opportunity for women to be rooted in The Word while developing deep community that encourages and challenges one another in their walks with Jesus. Flourish calls women to a higher standard of living following the commands in Titus 2:3-5, a God-filled life for the sake of the Gospel.

• Who can use Flourish?

  We encourage women in all stages and seasons of life who desire to strengthen their relationship with Jesus to engage with Flourish mentoring. In building our curriculum, we believe it is best experienced by women 18 and older, always paired with a woman ahead of her in years and in her spiritual walk. With that truth in mind, everyone seeking mentorship as they choose to live a life rooted in the Word of God is encouraged to consider how Flourish can fit into their life.

• Do I have to be mature in my walk with Jesus to participate in Flourish?

  All you need is a willingness to commit to the journey! That’s what Flourish is for — to help you grow in your walk with Jesus. Your mentor may not have all the answers, but she will open Scripture and walk with you as you better understand who Jesus is. So, in other words, you need just the right amount of maturity to stick to your commitment and press on to see what God has in store for you through this opportunity!

• What are the monthly and weekly requirements?

  We recommend meeting in-person once a month as mentor and mentee. If there is more than one mentee, we suggest meeting in-person once a month as a group and individually as needed.

  We encourage women to build daily devotional time into their lives, spending time in the Word at least five days a week. Everything you need for the journey is provided in the Flourish curriculum, including your daily devotionals!

• Do you provide training for mentors?

  The Flourish books  provide a full section exclusively meant to support mentors as they guide women through the program.

• What curriculum do you use? Is it a book or a study?

  The Flourish Year One and Year Two Books were created by Passion City Church and are based on Scripture. These books anchor women around six practical life topics, engaging them in The Word and each other’s lives. These topics are relevant to women everywhere and reflect our vision to help them grow into a life that matches the standards to which God calls us! • Do you need to complete Year One before experiencing Year Two?

  Each book is uniquely designed to serve women around six practical life topics. While it is not necessary to complete Year One first, it is encouraged in order to experience the curriculum as intended. Regardless of where you begin, each volume will equip you on your unique + meaningful journey!

• Does everyone need their own Flourish book?

  Both mentors and mentees will want their own dedicated copy of the curriculum in order to ensure the best experience with the program content and daily devotionals.

• Can I mentor others outside of a structured program using the Flourish curriculum?

  Absolutely! The Flourish books were created for women to use in the context of biblical mentoring and discipleship. You can always link arms with women in your life and start your Flourish journey together by purchasing a book. We suggest creating a consistent rhythm of in-person meetings where you would come together to discuss the content and do life with each other. 

• How do I launch a Flourish program at my church?

  Flourish provides a framework to serve and equip ministries interested in sharing this life-giving journey with the women in their community.
